Update!!

I wanted to write a post to update everyone on what has been going on in my life and the progress I have made in preparing to leave for Australia. A couple of weeks ago I booked a one-way plane ticket to Perth, Australia leaving on July 4th and arriving on July 6th. I graduated from Nursing school on May 4th and passed the NCLEX on May 14th, I am now officially a Registered Nurse!! All of this has happened so fast and feels like I have been caught up in a whirlwind! I finally feel like I can sit back and breathe…Even though I’m currently writing this at the airport on my way to Utah. God has been so good to me during this season and even though things have been busy, I feel like I have been able to enjoy life in the midst of it. A little update on my fundraising: I currently have $7,625 in hand and have an additional $2,400 in pledges, which brings me to $10,025!! That means I only need $5,036 more! The exciting part is that 10,000 dollars have been raised in just 7 weeks! That is incredible!! I just want to thank everyone who has already given and encourage those who haven’t. I still have a little over 5 weeks before I leave and I will continue to raise money even when I’m in Australia, so it’s never too late! Now that life has slowed down a bit, I'm hoping to get new posts out every other week.
